There are 11 units and a novel unit in the Cool School English 12 WebCt course. If you plan to finish English 12 in semester one, you must hand in all assignments and write all tests by January 15th.
You should begin the first unit and the Novel Unit together. Do not do the novel unit in WebCt. Instead, read and complete the novel unit posted in the English 12 Assignments section. Follow the instructions and post your novel journals in the WebCt Discussion area.
You will be completing the first three units as they are assigned in WebCt. Starting in the fourth unit, I will be giving alternate expectations (I will require less full sentence answers and other changes). See the comings posts on changes to units 4-11.
If you are going to take longer than one semester to complete this course, you should sit down with a calendar and make a plan of ‘attack’. You will need to be a self-managed learner. Make weekly and monthly goals. Set an end date (possibly by looking at Exam times on the Provincial Exam site…in the blogroll of my weblog). Email me any questions you may have about planning your progress.
